It was a wonderful week for the toddlers. They were so excited to see the snow on Monday morning! They also enjoyed seeing the campus geese and a surprise sighting of the garbage truck. We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Spring Break!

Signs of Spring
The children enjoyed several outdoor outings this week including a geese sighting and flower hunt! They also learned the different parts of a house in Spanish and heard some wonderful books about animals during our library visit.
Welcoming March
It was wonderful to welcome so many grandparents to our classrooms this week! The children enjoyed showing off their favorite works and spending some time together. The start of the new month brought new works—many of them green! We hope everyone has a great weekend!
Montessori Week
The last week of February is Montessori Week, a special time when schools everywhere celebrate the philosophy, values, and practices that make Montessori unique. Monday was about peace, Tuesday was community, Wednesday was culture, Thursday was about the environment and Friday was about self.
Short but Sweet
The children returned from the long weekend ready to work. They enjoyed many language lessons and both classes went for a nature walk and saw our resident geese by the pond!
Welcoming February
The start of a new month brought some shelf work for the children to explore. Both classes also enjoyed creating art, Spanish lessons, and a joint visit to the library!
Working in Winter
The frigid temperatures couldn’t slow down the children this week! Both classes incorporated weather discussions into the lessons. The children also practiced walking in a line.

Today was a very special day in Toddler as we celebrated our dads and grandads! It was wonderful spending time with them this morning!
